struggling a bit with trying to combine a body with another body

I am sure this would be a simple issue to repair, However i am reaching out to the community to assist me in my discovery. End result i am looking for is to some how combine the base of the cup sink with the lower section and not have it protruding thru the base of the sink as in my screen cast, I would like for it to be and opening for the cupsink to drain thru the sink outlet.

Your screencast wasn't attached.  The forum UI isn't very good for this as after entering the URL for the screencast you have to click the Insert button which isn't onscreen.

 

It would be better if you attached your file (Export the file as an Archive file .f3d.)

Try using boundary fill from the create menu. You select both parts then select the overlapping cells you want to create the new body\component.
