Store driven dimension to reference it from another component

I have a bearing (608-2RS).  I've downloaded a model for it from MacMaster-Carr and projected it to a sketch to measure the dimensions.

Now I'd like to cut a hole in another component of the same size.  Can I bind the radius of the hole to the size of the radius dimension?

I think the best option is to use Insert Derive. You can bring parameters from components.

I have not tried myself yet with parameters, so I cannot give you more details, but it looks promising.

Otherwise, you can insert the sketch as Derived also and then use the dimension as reference for the hole.

That will not work as they are driven dimensions and you can not reference driven dimensions in a parameter. You are better off just inserting rather then use derive as derive used more resources, if you insert a lot of components using derive performance might take a hit.
