Hello,

I have a small problem.  When I import some STL the scale is not correct but I do not find a way to correct this scale.

  Somebody can help me?

Thanks

If you use inset it does come in on size and you can set the units then

Win10 pro | 16 GB ram | 4 GB graphics Quadro K2200 | Intel(R) 8Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz

I'm new to Fusion 360 and 3D modeling but the software look great. I wouldn't thought at this counter intuitive problem and I was confused seeing my 5 meters model but I'm glad this topic remained here.

P.S. The issue is still there after two years.

Hi STL Importers...

STL format is defined/designed to be of generic taste ... means none.

It is like wet water. As water is always wet, we tend to skip 'wet' when asking a waiter for a glass of it.

Having a tasteless glass of water at the front of us we can flavor it if we want.

An STL file follows the same parallel.

The basic structure of STL format is as follows:

facet normal ni nj nk
    outer loop
        vertex v1x v1y v1z
        vertex v2x v2y v2z
        vertex v3x v3y v3z
    endloop
endfacet

If you want more info, surf the net.

Regards

MichaelT
