STL conversion isn't solid (newbie)

So I'm real new here and I'm sure that I've made a ton of mistakes. I've made this tugboat, but when I convert it to an STL it isn't solid. I guess the yellowish faces in the model are the problem, but how do I fix them? I also don't really understand what all the yellow highlighted problems in the timeline are or how to fix them. Any help would be appreciated!

A good bit of the boat is a surface body, not a solid. Seems to primary be in component "bulwarks".  Obviously that's not going to convert to a closed, solid model.

The yellow errors are indeed a problem.  I didn't go through all of them, but they appear to primary be the result of lost references.  It looks like you deleted a bunch of your sketches.  Any particular reason for doing that?

Thanks, I think I dove into this without really having a fundamental understanding of what I was doing. So is there any way to fix the surface bodies into solids or is it better to just start over? As for the deleted sketches, I think it was probably a misguided effort to clean up my work. I had started building it without properly separating components and when I went to fix it, I think I pretty well screwed it up even worse.

I would recommend starting over and not making components, just make bodies in place and join together as you go since you want a single body in the end for an STL.
