STEP geometry insert from mac desktop

Hello

Fusion has no problems working on my mac until

I try inserting step geometries from my desktop.

What throws me off is that I have no problem inserting

step files from macmaster.

I attached the file that I need to insert. It is a gear from vexpro.com

any ideas?

You need to upload it in the data panel first. 

You can also go file new design from file, but I use the upload.

Try pasting the link from your post into the form on this page. You should be able to use the full path and name with locally stored files as well, well you can with a PC. Might not be allowed on a mac.
