When exporting a STEP file I'm getting a number of components being exported without their appearance textures applied. This started happening after I applied physical material properties. I have tried to reapply the appearance but it doesn't take. This is causing issues with our manufacturing partners. Please help.
I have attached screenshots of the same part when vied from Fusion and E-Drawings. I get the same result using my PCB layout tool (Cadence Allegro).

Hi,
You can have a try to make the model convert into .iges or .obj file rather than .step file.
I think this will help you to get a proper appearance there.
Thank you.

Sadly our layout tool requires STEP rather than IGES. For months I've been exporting files without issue.

Hmmm... would you have an example file that exhibits that behavior?
I just tested this briefly with 2 components and a red/blue base color and an image-based texture on the top face of the red box and after re-importing the exported STEP into Fusion the colors and the texture both show up.

@TrippyLighting Thanks for doing that. I've attached one of the problem assemblies. Fingers crossed you can replicate the issue!

I do see the same issue (missing textures), but I am not entirely sure yet why.
It will take me some time to investigate.
@Anonymous did anything change in the STEP export code recently?

That's good news. I was worried that once exported it would all work fine.

@TrippyLighting@jodom Were you able to find a fix or a workaround for this issue
