Static Structural Simulation Failed : Regularization Failed

Hi, I was trying to perform a static structural simulation on a disc harrow structure. Upon trying to solve, the solver returned with an error message stating "Internal error : Regularization Failed". Could someone please assist me. I have attached the model file as well as the simulation model file here

Thank you very much

Hi @Anonymous

I looked at your model, and I think the main problem with creating the mesh is the too complex model. In FEA we try to simplify the geometry to the necessary minimum because features like threads or small fillets/chamfers can cause problems in the mesh. Try to remove them from the design and remesh the model.

Additionally, in your case, you could use symmetry in the study, I mean, you can remove one the half your model, and then in the cutting plane set up slider constraint. It will fast the calculations.
