Splitting and moving text

I am trying to make a 3D text logo. I use the Sketch-Text tool and create the text, but I need to change the spacing between the letters. After typing the text, I right click it and choose Explode Text, which appears to give me each letter as a series of splines (perfect). Now I need to find a way to separate each letter, so I can move them closer/further apart to get the desired spacing. Is this possible? The Move tool does not seem to allow it.

It looks like the sketch entities are fixed after using Explode Text command. This is denoted by the sketch entities being green in color. Unfixed entities will be black.

Edit the sketch, select the sketch entities and select the Fix/Unfix command from the right click menu. The sketch entities should be black in color. Now try the move command.

Even I unfix the text, this won't move a tall, in my opinion a lot of 2D sketch artistic-work have many problem....
