Split Component

I'm trying to crop a component. Basically cut out 100mm from each side. Not sure how to split a component. there's split body and split faces. Neither applies here when I try to select Body. How do I do it?

A component can be split, the same as a body, because a component has been created using a body.

Your body is a Mesh body, not many normal tools will work.

Go to Mesh section.

Create a Plane at Angle on your sketch line.

Use Modify > Plane Cut on the body with the plane you just created, with trim setting..
