Hello
I have a problem with SPLIT BODY .
When I split pattern of bodies I get a different effect than I split pattern of componnents.

What am I doing wrong ?

this is a fundamental "bodies vs components" misunderstanding.  When you have multiple instances of the same component, they all share the same geometry.  If you make a hole in one of them, that hole appears in every instance of that component.  Bodies, however, are independent entities, and, even if they look identical, they are not.  Put a hole in one Body, it will not affect other bodies.  So, when you split several bodies, each split can be unique.  Split a component, and they all are affected.  Here are a couple of youtube videos that explain bodies vs. components:

in this case, I made SPLIT components without inheriting features.
Why ?

I apologize for ignorance

A pattered (or copy/pasted) component creates identical instances that all reference the exact same data set. There is no child/parent relationship.

Thank You.

How can I edit individual components after they have been copied inside the project, without affecting the others?

Copy|Paste New.  Removing or hiding the original is better than deleting it.

O.K.

Thank You.

And next

How can I edit a single component if I want to use component PATTERN?

When I Patern to body inside component the link is break. When I make components from this "paterned" bodies, and modify thise componets the links breaks to.

Is this the correct way?

Sorry for my English.
