Split Body Tool

Hello Fusion Community,

I could use some assistance. I am unable to split and/or join two bodies at their corners. I have attached two screen shots for reference. One component is arc shaped and the second component is extruded linear shape.

In advance, thank you.

Pictures are a help but the Forum users need your model.  Please attach it.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I had to rebuild the assembly, that is why I took a bit longer than I wanted to. You cannot Split body on models that are Externally Linked so that is why the model is now an F3D file. Model is attached.

Hello jHackney1972,

Fusion is different than another popular 3D parametric program I have been designing with for a few years. I will study your design intent/solution for my particular model. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question and your assistance.

Best regards,

Daniel
