split body -delete unwanted edges from solid

Hi,

 

Is there a way to delete that edge? its generate after a split body operation, Thanks!

Short answer - no, and why?

 

do you want to delete the other curved edge, it is generated from the same object.

You can change the view settings, to shaded without edges.

thanks for the reply,

 

I come from Sub d modelling aplication like 3d max, and dont understund at all, where is need to clean some edges or not in nurbs modelling.

So you say that edge dont generate any problem there? Thanks again

That edge does NOT indicate a problem. It simply indicates that there is another NURBS patch. You can use the Inspect->Zebra stripes tool to see if there is some form of surface discontinuity.

 

Also under certain circumstances Fusion 360 is able to "heal" that area and merge that single surface patch and the adjacent surface. You could try to select that surface and simply hit the delete button. This may change the adjacent surfaces, or may not work at all or it might actually work. Fusion does not provide any feedback to the user other than the geometry visible in the viewport however so watch out for subtle but unwanted changes in geometry.
