space mouse, break out of 2d mode during sketch

I recently got this mouse and love it.

I have one issue, that I am not sure what I am missing.

I sometimes need to pan around in a sketch to grab a project or, get a better orientation to figure something out.

with the mouse in sketch mode. I can click middle mouse and shift, and pan it out of 2d mode, once i do that, the space mouse will allow me to do whatever I want.

how do I break out of 2d mode without using the normal mouse? clicking 3d sketch doesn't help

UPDATE: Figured out how to unlock sketch lock in the driver settings.

DOES anyone know how once you are out of orbit, to get back to 2d view once you have moved to get everything back perfect in 2d?

Could you elaborate a bit more on what your final question is?  I can see a model sketch out of position to the model but unsure what you want to do with it.

Edit: Also please attach your model.

actually I have figured almost everything out, I was trying to delete this post.

The new question I have, is how do I change the look at orientation?

can look at orientation be changed per sketch?

I want look at to work where it doesn't spin the model 45 degrees to the left, is there a way to lock Look at?

You cannot delete your post, to take it off the board, just use the Accept Solution icon on your last reply,  Then no one else will normally look at it.
