Somehow my Fusion broke

Hmm, I'm not sure what happened but for some reason Fusion stopped opening and retaining toolboxes, I attached a screencast to show my problem.

Notice that in sketch the sketch constraints toolbar is missing and when I extrude and measure the toolbar is missing as well. In fact any feature which results in toolbar usage is unable to be displayed. I tried quitting and restarting my mac but it's to no avail.

Thanks

Hello,

It was a strange issue. Please try to delete all cache files under the folder "/Users/<User>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Neutron Platform/Options/<A360 AccountID>/". I am assuming you used .COM MAC build. If not, the folder path should be "/Users/<User>/Library/Containers/com.autodesk.mas.fusion360/Data/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Neutron Platform/Options/<A360 AccountID>".

Please let us know if it cannot solve your issue.

Thanks,

Marshal

Hi O.Tan,

Can you try File menu -> View -> Reset to Default Layout
(For Mac: View Menu -> Reset to Default Layout)

Let us know if that doesn't solve the issue.

Thanks.

We're glad to see the tips solved your issue. In order to avoid this happen again, could you please help to provide a bit more info to help us to reproduce and trace down the issue, e.g. what is your OS? Do you remember what you did in Fusion before you lost toolbar (change preference settings, switch between workspaces, is data panel also blank, imported from third party model?...)?

thanks very much.

You can email me directly: xindong.zhu@autodesk.com

thanks,

xindong.
