When did the Fusion 360 Solidprofessor videos stop being free?

I was working my way thru all of them and now they are locked,  I understand they need to make a profit off of them just curious as to why they were all free and then changed half way thru.

Hey @Lonnie.Cady - were you accessing these through our Fusion learning site, or through SolidProfessor site?  When accessing the videos through our site (identical to the ones offered on SolidProfessor's site), they are all available for free.  Through SP, they are not.

I had not yet heard of SolidProfessor. It's good to know they are the same video's as the ones on the Fusion learning site.

It's amazing how much top notch free material is out there to help me learn how to use Fusion 360. I have found the video's on the learning site and the youtube channel incredibly helpful and very professional done.

@brianrepp Do you have a link to those videos in the learning section?  The videos in the link you have in the previous post don't appear to be the same as the ones on SolidProfessor.

On SolidProfessor there are about 130 short videos on Fusion360 and they were all free at one time.  I was watching them and it was nice since it kept track thru my account which once I had viewed already.  Now there are only 10 free ones and the rest come with the $399 standard account.  When I log in it has indicated that i have watched some the are now locked.

Not a big deal, I just wish they would have not changed how they were offered part way thru.

if they are just the fusion360 vids done by fusion staff they should not be charging, and some of them will be out off date

@daniel_lyall These all appear to be done by the SolidProfessor staff, as far as I can tell.  I used to be able to see the SolidProfessor videos on the learning site but I no longer see them there either. Maybe the separated them.

Like I said not really a big deal.

Hi Lonnie! Sorry that your learning got interrupted! Shoot me an email at MStansbury@SolidProfessor.com and I'll get you access to those courses 🙂

Thanks,

@Anonymous thanks for the offer, but it is really not necessary.  I appreciate the work that SP has put into the videos and feel they are some of the best available.  They are typically short and to the point.
