Is it possible to convert a solid object to a t-spline?

Thanks!

Not at the moment.

There is a tool that converts solid faces to T-Splines but it results in creating Patch faces that must be edited in the Patch workspace to add them to your solid model again.

Look for Sculpt > Modify > Convert.

Thanks,

TOwens777,

Can you provide me with some more information about the workflow that you are trying to accomplish.  Any models or screen shots will also help.  To go from Solid to T-Spline you can use the covert tool.  When you are in the sculpt workspace there is a convert command under modify.  Inside the convert tool box use the brep "BR" option to select solids.

Thanks for the response.  I was hoping to do my initial model in solid form and then convert to t-splines to edit some of the more organic shapes.

I was able to convert using the Covert tool but that wasn't very useful.  Editing he patches created would be more work than it is worth.

Thanks anyway.
