I have a fairly large and complex design that has started giving me problems when I try to edit the design.  While in the solid modeling tab, if I click a face/feature/fillet to delete, the surface is deleting.  Even if I do a combine/cut, fusion is only removing the faces and it is no longer a solid body.  I have tried stitching the model in the surface tab, but there are no open edges to select and my body is showing as a solid body but... I have exported my design as a STEP file and reuploaded it and my body is showing as a surface body with open and unstitched edges.

Hi! The behaviors do not sound right to me. Please edit the Stitch feature and tighten up the tolerance to 0.00001mm. Or share the design here. The forum experts can help take a look.

Many thanks!

it sounds like the body is corrupted. you'll need someone from AD to help if that is the case.

Small update.  It looks like a loft feature that I used was causing the issue.  I moved the timeline back 3 steps behind the loft that I performed and the program started working as it should.
