Imported dxf-file not properly displayed in Fusion

I have the problem that my Fusion does not display an imported dxf-file properly. The Lines in the sketches of the dxf-file appear confused and not how they should be (see attached screeshot). Does anyone of you have a solution for my problem? I attached the dxf-file for you to see.

Hi! I think the geometry is probably galaxy away from the origin. Please move it closer to the origin. Or you may open the dxf file in AutoCAD and move the geometry to be closer to the origin and then import it to Fusion again.

Hi John,

you're right it seems the scetches of this dxf are far away from its origin. Bu I don't have AutoCAD to open it and fix it.

Do you know why Fusion reacts like that to a sketch far away from the origin?

Hi! You could use Move command in Fusion Sketch to relocate the geometry closer to the origin. The way AutoCAD and Fusion treat geometry in the model space is different. In AutoCAD, the unit is optional. A line could be interpreted however the user wants by setting a unit. In Fusion, the geometry has an absolute size (regardless of measurement unit). One meter long line always measures 1000 mm or 100 cm in Fusion. As a result, when you place the geometry very far away, the graphics system will have trouble providing the same fidelity as it is close to the origin.
