I have a situation where I would like to cut a lot of small grooves in the surface of a much larger box. I made a sketch with a row of triangles to make the grooves in face of the box.
Proceeding as usual, I tried to select all the triangles using a box select to do a push-pull. They would not select - at all. I then tried clicking on individual triangles. Still, no luck. Finally, I zoomed in so tight so that only a few of the triangles were visible on the screen at once and finally, they selected.
It appears that items must occupy some minimum area on the screen in order to be selected - despite the fact that they are easily visible as small gliphs on the screen.
In a case where it is desired to select a large number of small items distributed over a much larger area, this behavior means that selecting the small items requires a LOT of tedious zoom in, make a select, move over and repeat - over and over and over.
I am attaching an example file.
Look at the corner of "Body1" nearest the origin. On one side you will see 3 horizontal grooves of the type I'd like to create using the small triangles shown in the sketch "Interior Scribe".
Note that it will be easier to follow this example if you turn on selection for just "Sketch Profiles"
If you look at the sketch " External Scribe", the situation is even worse. There, there are 164 small triangles that will have to be selected.
I hope that someone knows an easier way around this problem.
