Unfortunately there won't be a fix. But you don't need to sing in at all to Slicer. If you were using the features to write back into Fusion team, you will need to upload the results manually. There's no team working on Slicer, and since the workaround is as simple as ignoring the sign in, it should be ok.

One issue is that Fusion 360 does have Single Sign On, so when Slicer fails to sign in, it tends to log you out of Fusion too. We just added an option in Fusion for not closing without doing a recovery of any non saved models.

You can use it. You just won't be able to Sign In and connect directly with Fusion team. But it works perfectly well as an offline standalone product.

This is super frustrating because when I simply ignore the error, Slicer in the foreground while Fusion closes all my documents and logs me out. Not cool.

I have the same error. I have used Slicer for a few months now and very happy with it.

So fare i have tried:

Being logged in to F360, then Slicer ask me to agree 😞

Being logged out of F360, then Slicer is not asking me to agree, but it will not open my .stl from F360.

F360 closed, then Slicer ask me to agree 😞

F360 open, logged in, then Slicer ask me to agree 😞

Tried to login in Slicer, but just gets blanck screen 😞

I am using a MacBook Pro (2013), upgraded to 10.14.6 in December 2019 and have worked fine until today 😞

Wow what a bummer. I would expect nothing less from Autodesk.
