Slicer overlap setting for stacking

some newbie quetions concerning Slicer:

¿ how do I get stacked slices that enclose the whole volumewhite is what i get -transparent is wht I'm looking forwhat i get

I want to cover the whole volume

¿ what did i miss?

2nd question:

¿ is there a way to see the end-slices (thinner than the others)

3rd question:

¿ how can i make more than one dowel?
