Sketch Toolbox issue

Hello,

Some Sketch Toolbox commands are sending me to the Model Workspace.

In my case is the Mirror and the Circular Pattern, maybe it will happen with more commands.

Thanks

Hi @and.magro,

I just tried to reproduce this issue on Fusion on my computer, and wasn't able to do so. Just to make sure we are performing the same steps, are you creating a new sketch, hitting "s" to bring up the sketch toolbox, and then typing and selecting mirror or circular patttern? Check out the screencast below and let me know if you are doing anything different. If not, can you show me a screencast of what you are seeing so I can try to get a better idea. Thanks!

Hi,

Try to "Add to Toolbox" first, and then see what happened.

Hi @and.magro,

I went ahead and added it to my sketch toolbox and did not seem to have an issue with that either Smiley Sad

What happens if you:

  • Create a New Sketch
  • Bring up the toolbox and remove the old mirror command (just drag and drop it off the toolbox screen)
  • Search for Mirror again and then add it back

Does this seem to work for you then? If not, would you be willing to do a screen share session with me so I can take a deeper peek?

Hi James,

It worked, I deleted the command and then added it again to the sketch toolbox.

By the way, why are there two mirror commands in the sketch toolbox (as you can see in image I sent before) ?

Thanks

Hi @and.magro,

Glad to hear that worked! As far as the two mirror commands, I am unsure, I'd have to check in with the team. I have a feeling however that it may be because there is a command for both the Sketch Mirror and the Body/Component/Feature Mirror (the one found in the create menu). Most likely, since you are in the sketch toolbox, it is smart enough to assign the sketch mirror regardless of the option you pick. Again, I'd have to check in with the team to confirm that however.
