Sketch surface boundary lines are hidden

I made a sketch, drew an enclosed space that automatically converted to a shaded blue area indicating it was enclosed.  I saved, then exited fusion360.  I came back and now the lines in the original sketch are gone, but the surface is still there (please see attached).  I am not using "capture design history."

What is the possible issue here?

was this sketched on a planar face?  That is normal for a sketch on a face.  Can you share the model here?
