Sketch plane dark

I am wondering why the sketch plane is a dark grey instead of the light grid as in the modeling environment.

Is there a way on mac osx to change the color of the sketch environment?

Hi @Geekdad63,

You can change the environment by going to the control panel>display settings>environment. 

Your environment should not change by entering a sketch though, would you mind attaching some screenshots or a screencast?

Thanks everyone but I figured it out. My grid density was too dense.

Im having a similar problem..my grid dark..how to i change it to white
