Simulation Local mesh setting

Hello,

I am trying to use the local mesh controls to obtain 6 nodes in the section. So I select the entire face "loop" in the thinnest section and drive the mesh size to obtain 6nodes. These are then visible in the preview.  Faint green but all good.

Then I validate And obtain "only" 2 tetrahedron in the section.

Why is this 2 ?

Local refinements are only volumetric if you apply them to the whole body.

If you are applying to a face or vertex it will appear that you've gotten the correct number of elements but it's only surface level.
