Sheet metal surface conversion

I read this thread a few times trying to fix my issue but I'm still confused. (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-manufacture/go-from-surface-to-flange-to-sheetmetal-unfold...) I'm trying to do the same thing and it is kind of working. The component "Front Bottom"  works in a flat pattern using the thicken/join workaround. Any reason the other ones won't work "Front small", Front top", and "Back". I used the same principle yet it won't work. I think it has something to do with rule 3 of sheet metal but I don't know how I would fix that. Thank you in advance

How many total sheets do you intend to have (not counting duplicates)?

Why not model this entirely as Sheet Metal Contoured Flange(s) rather than convert from surface bodies?

Should be 4 total. 3 will be trimmed back at the top flange just didn't have time yesterday.

The contour flange worked, just had to do a cut to get it to shape. Thank you for that, I didn't know that was a thing but it makes sense.  @TheCADWhisperer

The problem with using this technique is you end up with edges that are not perpendicular to the flat.

You can check this by going to wireframe visual style and checking the edges...

Now that I am clear on what panels you want - I will try to post an example when I get a chance.
