Sheet Metal - cannot create second flat file, cannot copy body, cannot turn body into component

Hey all,

I have a multi-part skid plate I'm creating for a project. I need to create a flat pattern of each part to export to a DXF. However when I swap the the flat pattern view it only shows one body.

I know this is a known limitation now, but how can I get these other bodies into other components or files so I can flat pattern them as well? Seems like a huge limitation if this is not possible and I have to design each part of the underbody as a wholly separate file.

Any guidance is appreciated!

Please attach your problem model.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
