Shape of extrusion

I am ooking for this sort of thing: Imagine my frame was a line and I have just extruded it, and originally it was a square and I wanted to change it to a circle. Here is what I looking for: http://imgur.com/LbSbxZr

Basiclly I made a sketched circle and extruded it so it is 1 inch wide, but how do I change the shape of the FRAME (the width) of the circle so that the FRAME (the width) is a different shape? LIke a triangle or square?

I apologize, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what you are trying to achieve here.  Do you just want to extrude this shape:

If so, you just need to start Extrude, and select all 3 of the regions, then drag to the thickness you want.:

If this is not what you are trying to do, could you provide some additional information?  A few more pictures, etc, or use screencast to record a video from Fusion, would all be helpful
