setting hole on a sketch point

I've done this before  but since an upgrade this is not working--I want to set a point on a rectangle in a sketch. Then I extrude the result and want to set a hole on the point. The hole does not want to snap to the point. Been a while since I used 360 but I am pretty sure this worked before. (see attached)

It works without issue for me.

Edit: I am using the latest Fusion 360 version.

thanks. Apparently the order matters--select the points, then the hole command.
