Self-intersecting surface loft from two curve profiles

Hello, I'm trying to do a surface loft with two curve profiles, but the start and end points of one curve are not choosed as I want to, see screenshot1. If I move curve points somehow, it works, see second screenshot2. But I don't want to move points of course.

Can I exchange the start an end point of one curve in a loft?

Sorry, can't understand your answer... Can't see a surface loft in your screencast, or something with curve start and end points...
