Selecting only parts of a circle for extrusion of a plane

Hi,
I want to extrude a plane and only want to select part of a circle, as shown in the picture.

The problem is that Fusion won't let me select only a part of the circle. I can only select the whole circle.

I know it's possible to delete the unneeded parts of the circle in the sktech and then make the selection, but this is not a long-term solution for me, because it often messes up the constrains in the sketch.

Is there any other solution for this specific problem?

Did you mean Surface rather than Plane?

If yes, then sketch a 3 Point Arc overtop of the circle. (Or do in new sketch with Projected points.)

You might also toggle the circle to Construction.
