I have attached a screen shot that shows the section view A-A where the top lid is not hatched properly, and the grease nipple isn't either.

Any idea what would cause this?

I know I need to re-associate some dimensions.  Every time I refresh the drawing from the model it seems that I need to do this with a few dimensions.

The drawing space uses the information from the model space so the problem probably stems from the model.  But without seeing the model it's hard to tell.  On another note, don't you wish they had welding features built into Fusion360? I sure as **** do.

Hi Big_Mak,

Zooming way in on your screen capture, I think the lid is being hatched, but at the default hatch scale (1.00) and angle, it's not resulting in more hatch lines across the entire part:

I'm wondering if the grease nipple has the same issue.  We currently scale all of the hatches consistently, but ideally they'd be scaled to guarantee a valid hatch pattern for each part.

If you zoom in on each part, and double-click a visible hatch line, you should get a Hatch Edit dialog which will allow you to decrease the scale, change the angle, and apply other patterns.  Does this work for you?  If not it would be great if you could share your model.

On a different note, what type of edits are resulting in the disassociated dimensions?  You shouldn't be regularly losing association, again if possible please share your drawing and model (you can send to christopher.miller@autodesk.com) and let me know what you are doing, and I can get a bug logged in the system for it.

@jeevesme we have welding symbols on the roadmap, although i can't guarantee when they're coming, we are definitely aware of the request.

Thanks,

Chris

The top that is not hatched is the same part that is on the bottom of the can that is hatched.  The only different being that I have the instance of the grease nipple in the one on the top and the fastener.  I'm trying to keep the drawing and assembly as light weight as possible.
