Section view not working

Hi,

When i try to section something it is not working for me. 

Not sure what i am doing wrong, i just get a dot

HI @Dan_Margulius ,

I am sorry you are having an iissue with drawings.  Are you on Windows and have the application Alias from Autodesk installed on the computer?  If so, this is a known issue and we are working on a fix to possibly include in an upcoming hotfix.  There is a workaround, but it is somewhat complicated.  If you don't have it installed, can you send me your logs (kris.berg@autodesk.com)?  You can get logs by going to the help menu (?) and  selecting "Diagnostic Log Files".

Hello,
Yes i do have Alias installed as it is part from the Product Design Suite. i am on W7.
If you guys know about this than that's OK, will wait for the fix.

if i uninstall alias it will work properly?

Hi Chaicopski,

Yes, provided you don't need it if you uninstall Alias it should fix the problem in Fusion 360 Drawings.  We're working on the correct fix so they can co-exist side-by-side without problems.
