How do you sign in to upload a screencast?

Clicking on any of the blue Sign in text does nothing.

is screen cast still active, I thought they were retiring it this month?

I've moved to OBS and upload short vids in response to forum posts to YouTube (unlisted). 

It's not as convenient as the built-in screencast, but the video quality when working on high res screens is superior to what the screencast tool had to offer.
