Scene setting of torus or object in Rendering Module

Hello everybody, I have been using Fusion 360 for a short time. I found there are some options I can choose in advanced dialog of material editing. I cannot find any information through the internet what is the difference between torus and object... Hope somebody can answer my question. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Fusion community! Thank you for posting this. As far as I know, this option doesn't affect the actual appearance of models. You can change the shape in the thumbnail for the preview of materials. I hope this helps!
