Scale difference after working with meshes

HI

I am curious about scaling; can scale of the mesh change after working with Fusion360?

My original mesh was 70mm in height, but sometimes it gets 700mm after working with the program. Width and depth also changes 10 times accordingly. I usually used Mesh>Reduce mesh menu.

If I re-make the model, the problem gets solved so I do not take it seriously- I'm just curious why it happens.

If you know the answer, please reply. Thanks in advance! 🙂

If you use Insert Mesh into a mm design and Save As Mesh to export it should always work, never had any problems. If you use the data panel to either import or export, the file will be either imported or exported as CM so 10x out if you don't take this into consideration.

There was a bug a while ago if you sent a mesh directly to your printer. Fusion automatically scales output to mm when it sends a design to your printer but I found if in the same session you then used Save As Mesh to save a file you would get the wrong scale seem to remember 10x too big if you work in mm and 2.54x too big working in inches.
