save to older autocad dwg

we'v got always the problem they ask us to export to dwg for autocad 2010. So they cannot read our exported dwg from fusion. what to do about that?

Now we need to send our drawings to an autocad user and ask them to save as a 2010 version. how can we do that with fusion 360?

Hi @Anonymous,

To my knowledge, Fusion can only export a newer DWG filetype and does not have the direct option to save as an older DWG file. I did a little digging however, and I think one our Autodesk products called DWG TrueView should be able to help you out! (link here). It's a free download and I tried it on my computer and you can take new DWG files and do a DWG convert and save them out as older versions.

Hope this helps!

You can use AutoCAD360 here, a browser based version AutoCAD) to upload an existing DWG and then download into a specific DWG files. See the below screenshot for details.

The free version should give you access to this feature. You just need to log in with your Autodesk ID to gain access. I hope that helps!

Thanks,
