Hi, Fusion (and general CAD) n00b trying to learn the ropes. I have a box I'd like to construct with mitered edges, like so:
After creating the mitered edges, I'd like to fillet (round) them over. If I were making this out of wood, I would fasten the edges (let's say with glue), then use a router bit to run along the edge to round it over.
I'm struggling a bit to map how I imagine doing this in the real world with how I should design it in Fusion. When I model the box as above, for example, the Fillet tool does not seem to work as expected (it can't round over two different bodies).
So then I try modeling the box as one solid body, rounding all the edges as I'd like, then trying to figure out how to miter-cut all the faces; this gets confusing quickly (to that point that I'm sure I'm not doing it right).
I'm curious how I should ideally be thinking about this within Fusion's paradigm. I've attached my embarassingly-messy test file here to really out myself as totally incompetent. 🙂
