rotational joints

Ive drawn a spindle and king pin assembly, where spindle rotates around the king pin.  I have now added a bracket that bolts to the spindle. My struggle is fixing the bracket to rotate with the spindle, while keeping them separate components.  I have tried using the "as built" joint tool and adding a rigid joint but I still get the result shown below.  Any tips is appreciated

Separate Components. (Tick)

Rigid Joint - Plate to the Spindle, (not yet.)

Looks like the plate is fixed somehow,

needs to be free to Move before you make the Rigid Joint - Plate to the Spindle.

Might help...

A STL of the model will not work.  Open your model, select the Export command from the File menu and save your model as a F3D or F3Z to your hard drive.  Attach that to a reply post.  If it is a F3Z file, you may have to ZIP it to allow it to attach.

You were not far off. The main thing was that you had the wrong component "Ground to Parent". The video will explain.
