Hi,

I have read there is possibillity to rotate model by mouse (middle button + shift) instead of using orbite but it does not work.

Should I change some settings?

I use Dell Precision M4500.

What do you have set in your Preferences?

I recommend that you get a 3D Connexion Space Navigator.

Shift + Hold Mouse Wheel works fine on my machine for Rotate.

If you set it to the SolidWorks preference - you don't need to hold the Shift, just hold the Mouse Wheel.

I'm just suggesting that a Space Navigator is well worth the cost.

And is there a setting to rotate by holding middle or right button and move by holding the other button (middle or right)?

That's what i looking for. Rotate and Move without pressing some buttons on the keyboard.

To perform the movement task that you mention your post you have to use 3D Connexion Space Navigator. After using this space navigator, if you still facing some issue then that means there is sometingwrong with your adobe software/application or your Dell device. Mostly these kind of issue mainly occurs when the drivers that you are using get corrupted, the version of application that you are using may get obsolete and much more. If you find something wrong with your device then i recommend you to check Dell Precision M4500 Manual to fix the error.
