Hey!
I am trying to create a simple rice paddle for my mother. I am going to customize it beyond the basic photograph. The stick end will be a larger area for more leverage. I was just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I started with a sketch but it was hard to edit the top circle area to more of an oval shape along with account for the concave slight arc of the spoon so when it is laying on the counter the food area will be slightly lifted.
I then started in sculpt but don't know which shape to begin with (ive done all my designs with a Sketch. But I would like to learn how to use sculpt) I have some of the basics down but when it comes to trimming it to the actual shape that is where I run into the lack of expertise. because the side walls are not flat they are rounded.
Ultimate question how do I start (with a box, flat edge, etc)
