Revolve to Plane: How to change direction?

So I want to revolve my profile around an axis to a plane. Fusion picks the wrong direction for revolving (see picture revolve_wrong.PNG). How can I change the direction, so the result looks like in the picture revolve_right.PNG? Is this even possible when revolving to a plane?

It appears the first version is Fusion default, anticlockwise from the front, working against you.

Without something on the plane under the profile to select, you will have to resort to the second version.

Fusion 360 does need a flip or minimum solution button for this situation.  A quick solution is shown in my screencast.

This will give the correct angle but sadly, it will not automatically adapt when I change the axis or the plane, which is what I was hoping for.

Add a sketch article to that plane, select to the sketch article, will go to that direction,

when redefining the plane attitude, sketch will maintain the revolve distance / angle.

A Flip button would be better.

I just had the same problem. I ended up drawing an arc on a perpendicular plane and use Sweep instead of Revolve.

Bit over 4 years later, this Flip Direction feature is still missing.  Leads to lots of extraneous geometry/features to work around unfortunately.

do not expect from autodesk that they will use any consistency or logic. they never did and never will do. for sure not since it all became SAAS. I have been an authorised dealer and stopped out of frustration.
