Im a fairly new user and im having the most difficult time understanding how joints work. I've watched countless videos and I must just be missing something obvious .
I have a very basic conveyor, and I have designed a simple reject gate with fingers on a reject shaft, that are popped-up to guide the products( flat sheets) down under the conveyor, to a hopper that is yet to me designed. Two cylinders actuate this movement, but no matter how I organise the jopints , or in whatever order I make them, it all goes wrong and i get a pile of errors that give no real insight to what the issues are.
If i make the shaft have a joint with the bearing inner or outer race, it gives up an error, and I cant make the reject arm, even have a simple rigid joint on to the shaft either. I have used the other joints that are needed for this motion, in the rear of the cylinder, and the pin of the clevis, but the other joints refuse to work.
Any help at this point would be great.
Thanks
Gareth
