Repurpose Sketch from Previous Model

I would like to start a new 3D model but using a sketch from a previous design.  Is there a way to import a sketch?

Save your sketch as a DXF and Insert the DXF on the plane of your choice.

Plain old copy and paste works fine to.  You do have to start a sketch before you paste.  And also be carful of selecting sketch entities on different sketches, because everything will get pasted onto one sketch, and the results can be in predictable.  (that's the second part of screen cast).
