Replace the same components at once

I have a component I made that I want to replace with a different component. However, since I've used this component several times in a file, I want to replace them all at once.

I know to right-click the component right and I can replace them one by one, but when I selected several components the replace component link doesn't show up. Since I have several files that I want to replace, doing it one by one is kind of a hassle. So I would like to know if there is a way I can do it at once.

If you have created your components External, then you can use the Replace Component Command.  This will replace all of the same components in an assembly.  Be aware you may lose Joints and other dependencies.

This is a good command to replace one bolt type of bolt for another, all at once, in an assembly.

I would not have suggested it unless it had the option to "Replace All" since you asked for that in your post.  Note the check box in the dialog box when you select the replacement component.

Oh I never realized that the replace all instance is in the dialogue box!
