Replace face tool

Hey guyz, 

My question is regarding the "Replace Face" tool.

I want a replace face tool like how we have in UG NX. Why do i need to have a surface body to perform a simple replace face command. Why cant i just use a face of the solid body part. 

Its such a tedious work when i need to perform direct editing on imported parts or edit any model. 

I seriously request to allow users to select a face for performing a replace face command. It is very usefull trustme. It is same like in solidworks. And i hate that.

You are not required to use surfaces to perform the Replace Face command in Fusion 360.  You can use solid bodies to perform the command.  Take a look at the Screencast for two examples.

Sir, i got your point thank you for the reply. 

I have another concern that is what if in some case i need to use this command on a single body itself. So in that case i think this wont work. I ll have to offest a surface with zero value and use that for the replace command

If you only have one body, of course you are going to either create a replacement surface or another body.  The Replace Face command works with either solid or surface bodies but by the definition, you must have two of them.
