Repeated pattern of straight slots

My model  has rows of slots. Right now they are all straight and equally spaced. Later versions will be equally spaced curved slots.  I am a complete beginner and have been drawing and extruding these individually. There has to be a better way! Any help is appreciated. Please do no assume I know anything.

Easiest thing would be to pattern the bodies. Create one and pattern along a path:

@LibertyMachine shows how to create a pattern on a curved path.  The other two options, Rectangular and Circular, will work equally well straight or curved slots as well as any other geometry.
