Repairing form

Hi all,

I modeled this car shell without capturing history. Now I wish to toggle it but it deletes my form and giving me an error that I have to repair verticles etc... When I try to repair it I get stars and numbers all over and when I try to repair it manually I still get them. Could anyone point me to a direction?

I looked at your model and repaired it. The Screencast is almost an hour lone and I am not sure I am even going too post it. But here's the essence:

 

  1. Model with quad faces (polygons with 4 edges/vertices) with only. 5 vertices are OK but try to stick to quads. NO triangles.
  2. Model 50% + in box view mode. If you had done this some of the problems in this T-Spline would be obvious.
  3. Only add detail when you are satisfied with the overall shape and proportions. Having too many polygons to deal with can make modeling slow and difficult.
  4. DO not creased continue to model with creased edges. Either remove the crease before continuing to model, or better crease at the every end. In the end I had to export eh control cage as a .obj and re-import it to be able to fix this mesh.
