Rendering Environment is reflected same on every object, help.

Hello All,

I may be totally missing something but when I render all my objects have a cloned reflection map.

I want the environment to be reflected across all the objects with each object showing the reflection map of the environment in a relative position.

I created the array using the pattern tool. Is this the issue? Or is there something else I am missing.

(The reflections come out the same wether I rendering in cloud or in canvas.)

Hi @davidcuesta76,

The environment system in Fusion is a unseen dome with the selected environment IBL mapped to it.  Fusion isn't mapping the environment to the object.  The object is reflecting the dome.

So if you have a bunch of spheres like in your image, you will get the same reflection across all of them due to the size of the dome.

You can try rotating the position of the environment or change to different environment to see if you can get a more suitable look but due to the small size of your objects and the large size of the dome it probably won't change much.

Hope that helps,

Colin\

You can add your own light sources to the scene and use uniform map for dome or reduce its brightness to 0.
