Removing gaps from solids

Hello Fusioneers!

So, I've been having an interesting problem with a model that I downloaded from GrabCad as an .STP.  I've found a work around, but I suspect there's a better way to do this that as a relative newcomer to F360 I'm unaware of.

This is a model of a GT2 Timing Belt that I'm using as a tool body to create some fixtures for a project I'm working on.  The model is constructed as a series of segments that seem to have been stitched together, however there's a small gap in the middle of the link (one example circled below):

This causes artifacts when I use it with the combine tool to cut out slot to insert the end of the belt into.  Is there a good way to fix this model?  Or remove the artifacts quickly?  My work around is labor-intensive and I'm looking for a faster way to get this done...

Thanks!

With geometry this simple - I would remodel it from scratch rather than using someone else's rubbish in my design.

Should take less than five minutes.

Would you like for me to remodel it for you?

Thanks for the quick reply, and for your kind offer!  That will be a good exercise for me to do, so I'll give it a swing and let you know if I have any questions...I really appreciate your help!
